What We Believe
The Associate Reformed Presbyterian church is a Reformed, Confessional, and Presbyterian denomination.

We hold to the truth of the inspired and inerrant Word of God (The Bible). Our theology, or doctrine, is best summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith along with both the Shorter and Longer Catechisms.

We subscribe in our belief and practice to the Westminster Standards as stated above. These are, of course, human documents, and therefore no infallible, yet we maintain that holy Scripture in its original manuscripts is infallible

Presbyterian is not so much a statement on belief or doctrine as much as it is a system of church governance. We believe the Scriptures present the church with an example of the church as elder led. The plurality of elders (who are gifted and called by God, elected and ordained by the church, make up the governing body of our local congregation called the session.
